Ad blocking by Using AdBlock Plus
Apple has announced the Ad Blocker with iOS 9 release and started the discussion about ad-blocking. Security Analyst has started to look into the benefit of Ad-blocking. And in other side, Ad-Publisher has started to look into the surpassing the ad-block concept.
But we wont discuss those things here. We will know how to block the unwanted Ad.
Many tools are available in market (free and paid). But here we will discuss here FREE and one of the best ad-blocking tool ie. AdBlock Plus.
Follow the simple following steps and configure it as
1. Go to https://adblockplus.org/
2. You will find the Green Button to download it for current browser. but you will find the list of supported browsers also.
Here i am downloading in Chrome. So Button is showing "Install for Chrome". In Mozila it will be like that
3. Click on Install button. After clicking on Install, you will get confirmation popup to install the extension.
4. Click 'Add Extension'. It will added and icon will be added on top right in Chrome
5. Its done. Now start browsing.
